Description
I’ve recently started spearfishing myself as a way to discover and work with new species firsthand. While diving in the Gulf of California, just off a local beach in La Paz, I came across a school of around 40 to 50 individuals. I took a shot and landed one — a new species unlocked and now part of my artistic exploration.
I have to say, the meat turned out to be surprisingly good.
Vertical pieces are less common in my collection, so this one is something special.
